It has been a busy week.  Last weekend, I took a trip up to Maine to see my mom as she was going through her house to get rid of things.  This weekend, we went to Susan's house on Sagamore Beach.  The kids had fun using kayaks on the ocean, swimming in her pool and having a cookout.  Today, we went to a graduation party and the the kids had friends over.  Nathan had Kyle over and Jillian had Sara over.  A girl named Kenzie rode her bike over and Josie hung out with her for a little bit.

Lots to say

The kids have been doing great!  It was a busy month as Nathan earned his green belt in karate which means he was given nunchucks and Jillian had a gymnastics meet that I saw via video.  Jillian has improved greatly and earned second place for the vault and she also earned some third place finishes. Jillian had her science fair as school too.  Nathan had his six year check up and got a clean bill of health and in he is above the 90th percentile for height and weight.  Josephine has been learning to spell new words like go and see.  So much continues to change.

We also attend our first circus.  It was the Ringling Brothers "fully charged" show.  The show was absolutely amazaing with the acrabats, the human fuse (man set on fire and launched out of a cannon), stilt jumping basketball players, wheels of steel (the most entertaining part!!)

Jillian had a sleep over this past weekend. Her friend Emily came over and they made me a Mother's Day cookie.  All the kids made me amazing gifts from school and I got a really nice bracelet with a bead from each child (Jillian-cheetah, Nathan-blue and Josie white with pink butterflies)

Memorial Day

On Monday, the kids and I hiked through Purgatory Chasm. They did such a great job with this and climbed up the huge rocks

Memorial Day Weekend

We went up to Maine for the holiday weekend. On Friday, the kids stayed at Howard Johnson's with Jon and I spent the night at Alana's for a slumber Party. We then went to Antony & Bailey's wedding (my cousin) which was a lot of fun for the kids. They enjoyed dancing and Josie sang "Single Ladies" on stage - no dancing this time. After we drove to New Hampshire to see Mame & Papa. The kids went swimming in the lake and Jillian went in the river. When she got back to the house we noticed that she had huge bites on her back.

Jillan got braces last week and showed all the relatives.

We are finally recovering after a week of sick children. Jillian got strep, Josephine ran a temp. of 103.5 and Nathan had a temp. over the weekend. This week has been an artic cold week and we haven't been able to go outside :-( Jon has been busy working on the girls room. It is looking wonderful. The walls are painted, the floors is in. Now he has to put up moldings and working on both our closets.
